A check is one address on one chain. Re-running the same address on the same chain within 24 hours is free and returns the cached report with a fresh audit entry. Failed validation and rate-limited requests are never counted.

Billing questions
Do expired or empty addresses count as checks?
No. Only a completed screen on a valid address is billed. Invalid addresses, unsupported chains and rate-limited requests are excluded.
What happens when I pass the included volume?
Overage bills at the per-check rate shown above, capped at the next tier's price. We notify at 80% and 100% of the included volume.
Are both chains the same price?
Yes. Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain cost the same per check and return the same report structure.
Can we get the methodology for our compliance file?
Yes. The methodology is versioned and available in the docs, and Institution plans include a written methodology summary for your policy documentation.
